Project Revamped
Jewels
On Project Revamped, your character has a new equipment slot, located inetween your Ancient Animal & your Accessoires.
Jewels are split into 3 different types of Jewels. Rubys, Emeralds & Sapphires
Jewels are dropped from all monsters, but require polishing for them to be used.
In order to polish the jewels, you simply bring them to a Jeweller in every city, which ask for zamogeons in exchange for their service to polish your gem.
Level 1 to 30 Monsters drop T1 Jewels (Rough) & cost 2500 to cut.
Level 30 to end of Dungeon 1 Monsters drop T2 Jewels (Clean) & cost 15.000 to cut.
High Class Demons drop T3 Jewels (Shiny) & cost 50.000 to cut.
Jewels serve a very specific purpose:
Ensure Zamogeons stay useful throughout all stages of the game.
Modifier Pool:
Rubys roll a single modifier that is drop focused:
- [Monster Name] has a 5-10% increased droprate (0,5% steps)
Emeralds roll a single modifier that is experience focused:
- [Monster Name] gives 5-10% increased experience (0,5% steps)
Sapphire roll a single Modifier that is Zamogeon focused
- [Monster Name] drops 50-100% increased Zamogeons (10% steps)
The modifier pool is small on jewels, the hard part is to find a jewel with the specific monster you are trying to hunt down. The Monster your jewel can roll is directly related to the above tiers in what general area you found them.
While Jewels are a rather common drop, they are ment to be extremely hard to polish into a good one, and should take alot of zamogeons on average to find one you are looking for. This is, as mentioned above already, solely a money sink to ensure the power of zamogeons over the duration of your journey.
